Label 3 boxes in each room
of your house:
- One box for items you’re taking with you
- One box for items you’re consigning
- One box for items that you wish to donate
Each day before you move go through each room dividing items not being
used into boxes this may be slow & overwhelming at first, but once started
you will most likely feel excited & relieved at your progress.
Some people offer the opportunity to request special items to children
or other significant people should there be anything that they would like
for themselves such as heirlooms, furniture, etc. They can let you know
and if you no longer have use of it, set it aside for them.
Use this process to pack up all items that aren’t used daily and once
a week distribute the boxes to your consignment store and the charity
of choice.
Pack the rooms used the least first ending with the bedroom, kitchen &
washroom. Remember, we can help pack and arrange your move for you.
Bring in your furniture and furnishings for consignment and help pay for
your move or new furniture!
